This is for people who live in an apartment. I live on the 3rd floor of my apartment. This machine is really loud, I have had neighbors complain twice already. This machine is not well secure when you go it and believe this thing weights 250lbs! Other then that it’s a excellent machine to jog and walk on.

You had better have multiple tools and your muscles ready to place this together. Four of the predrilled holes were not aligned properly and one did not fit the bolt at all. I had to find another bolt from my toolbox to fit. Also the allen wrench they provided was useless since you had to use so much force to place the bolts in. I have given 3 stars simple because I may like it better once I get over the nightmare of construction, otherwise it would be zero stars.

I owned this equipment ‘Merit Fitness 715T Treadmill”
Cons:
-The two bars that holding the control panel is hard to allign during the installation process, you need two people to install this one.
-The main power switch is hard to find and not visible
-This equipment is huge you need a large area in your apartment
Pros:
-structure and quality seems excellent
-the built-in wheels helps for simple moving coz this thing is heavy
and hard to go if your floors are carpeted coz of the small wheels.
-electronic controls are simple to use
-calorie n heart monitor built-in, presets, speed control
-The motor is silent and the conveyor dont produce loud noise
-You can fold it for storage with locking mechanism
-screwdriver/tools are included in the package

I have been on the treadmill nearly everyday since I received it, and very much delight in it. I don’t reckon I’ve had it long enough to tell much of a difference yet, but know that it is helping me to become healthier. I recommend it for others.

This treadmill fit the bill perfectly! Inexpensive, simple to assemble, folds easily for storage and simple to use. I finally have no excuses! I recommend this to anyone except those who are die-hard joggers. It has pulse, distance, time, variable speeds and a cup holder (?).
